Handthrown and glazed using traditional techniques, each Borgh Pottery piece is unique, and takes approximately three weeks to complete from start to finish.
Sue mixes her own high fired glazes at the pottery from powdered rocks and oxides, creating textured finishes reflecting the wild seas, pristine sands and earthy tones of the islandscape.
Borgh pottery pieces are designed for everyday use and are suitable for the oven, and the dishwasher.
The pots are as popular with the generations of locals who’ve spent time in the pottery as they are with the visitors we welcome each year; a testament to their timeless style and long lasting durability.
